Artificial intelligence (AI): What Is It?
According to (Frankenfield, 2022) "Artificial intelligence (AI) is the emulation of human intelligence in
devices that have been designed to behave and think like humans."The phrase can
also be used to refer to any computer that demonstrates characteristics of the
human intellect, like learning and problem-solving.
The types of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is
classified into two types: strong and weak.
Strong artificial intelligence systems - are those that can perform tasks that are considered
human-like. These are typically more complex and difficult systems. They are
configured to deal with these situations in which they may be compelled to
solve problems without the intervention of a human. These systems are used
in applications such as self-driving cars and hospital operating rooms.
Weak artificial intelligence - encapsulates a system designed to perform a
single task. Weak AI systems include chatbots as well as intelligent machines
like Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri.
Programming Languages in AI
The main instrument for investigating and developing computer programs that can be used to emulate cognitive processes like learning, reasoning, and comprehending symbolic information in context is programming languages in artificial intelligence (AI). Programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Lisp, and R are utilized in AI.
